Women, Peace and Security: Delivering gender-sensitive service provision Training of Trainers (ToT) and mentorship to local police in select communities

Objectives: The initiative aims to integrate Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) principles into police operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) to enhance gender-sensitive service provision. It focuses on building skills of police officers in providing inclusive services to marginalized and conflict-affected women, thus improving police's capacity to address gender-based violence and fostering social cohesion by increasing trust in institutions. This is part of a project to sustain peace by empowering women and aligning with UN goals for gender equality and responsive governance.
