Objectives: The tender aims to procure consultancy services for technical assistance regarding environmental, social, and cross-cutting issues for the Transport Infrastructure Improvement Project Phase II. This includes upgrading the railway line between Kranzberg and Otjiwarongo in Namibia. The objective is to support the implementation of the project's Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) and Abbreviated Resettlement Action Plan (ARAP), review contractor-prepared plans, conduct compliance audits, and ensure adherence to national and Bank requirements while promoting innovation and progress.
