Enhancing Rural Women's Capacity for Advocacy and Gender-Responsive Budgeting in Shirak and Gegharkunik Regions

Objectives: The UN Women initiative aims to bolster rural women's advocacy and gender-responsive budgeting (GRB) capabilities in Armenia's Shirak and Gegharkunik regions. The project seeks to equip women and local authorities with the necessary skills and institutional mechanisms to sustain gender-inclusive governance across six communities. Through training, mentorship programs, and structured dialogue platforms, this assignment facilitates women's active engagement in local planning and budgeting processes, fostering lasting transformation in governance practices and economic decision-making aligned with GRB principles.
