Call for International Consultancy services to support UNDP in South Sudan

Objectives: The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking international consultancy services to draft a transitional justice roadmap for the Government of South Sudan. The objective is to establish and operationalize the Commission for Truth, Reconciliation, and Healing (CTRH) and the Compensation and Reparations Authority (CRA). This includes drafting key policy documents to guide the transitional justice mechanisms as mandated under Chapter V of the 2018 Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan (R-ARCSS). The consultancy involves working closely with South Sudan's Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, incorporating both local and international best practices, and traveling within South Sudan as necessary. The consultancy aims to address past human rights violations through truth-seeking, accountability, compensation, and reparations, ultimately promoting justice and reconciliation in South Sudan.
