Technical Specialist - Incentive Framework Design (FOLUR Project)

Objectives: The Technical Specialist for the FOLUR Project will design an incentive framework to encourage farmers, particularly smallholders, to adopt sustainable agricultural practices in the production of key commodities. The project addresses unsustainable management and expansion of global commodity crops, such as palm oil, cocoa, and coffee, into forest areas, with adverse ecological consequences. By creating robust policy frameworks and sustainable production practices, the initiative will integrate landscape management with biodiversity conservation, aiming for a sustainable future for Indonesia's commodity and food systems. Implementation includes pilot testing in five provinces over 72 months, leveraging collaboration among government agencies, community organizations, and private sectors.
