Kenya Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Program: Consultancy Services for Review and Updating of the Water and Sanitation Design Manuals

Objectives: The aim of the consulting services is to review and update the water and sanitation design manuals for the Government of Kenya's K-WASH Program. The main objective is to integrate current technological advancements, climate resilience, social and environmental considerations into the manuals. The update seeks to align manuals with recent regulatory requirements, adapt to modern construction techniques, and incorporate industrial best practices in operation and maintenance, especially in electro-mechanical installations. The goal is to provide updated guidelines for water supply services, small dams, sewerage and sanitation services, and design standards for solar powered water systems and irrigation.
