Objectives: The tender seeks the provision of engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and two years of operations and maintenance for five solar photovoltaic (PV) hybrid systems in White Nile State, Sudan. These systems aim to power water treatment plants at refugee camps, currently reliant on diesel generators. The project's key objectives are to reduce diesel fuel consumption by integrating solar power, maximize solar energy production, and implement adequate controls and protections for optimal and sustainable operations. The tender also includes replacing parts of the existing water pumping systems and providing hands-on training for UNHCR staff.
