National Expert for Groundwater Pollution Control

Objectives: The main objective of the 'EU4RIVERS' project, led by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and co-funded by the EU, is to enhance Albania's progress towards the EU water legislation requirements. This includes supporting the preparation of the Directive Specific Implementation Plan (DSIP) Report for the EU Groundwater Directive. The consultancy aims to increase the implementation of the National Water Reform, ensuring improved integrated water management in accordance with EU directives, enhancing river basin management, monitoring, reporting and enforcement, as well as elevating groundwater pollution control specifically in Tirana, Albania.
