RFP2522 Development of a Sustainable Finance Strategy for Namibia

Objectives: The project aims to develop a Sustainable Finance Strategy (SFS) for Namibia to seamlessly integrate sustainable and inclusive green finance practices into its financial sector. The strategy's primary objectives include crafting a shared vision with specific goals, actions, timelines, and responsible stakeholders, enhancing the capacity of financial institutions through workshops to advance sustainable finance, and aligning strategies with international best practices to fulfill Namibia’s national financial sector strategy and climate resilience goals. The strategy will further focus on understanding the current sustainable finance landscape in Namibia, benchmarking international practices, and ensuring consistency with global sustainable finance standards.
