Qu25/03012: Rescom2/ Climate Specialist

Objectives: The tender is for hiring a Climate Specialist under the "Resilient Communities through Women Empowerment (Rescom 2)" Project implemented by UNDP in Moldova during August 2024 – July 2028 and funded by Sweden and Norway. The project aims to enhance gender-responsive climate resilience by integrating gender considerations into climate policies, empowering women leaders, and promoting climate-smart solutions. It supports Moldova's 2030 National Strategy on climate change adaptation and environmental protection, and the Government Programme on Gender Equality (2023-2027), while contributing to domestic energy production and affordability. This phase continues the efforts of the Resilient Communities Project, focusing on increasing understanding of climate change and gender empowerment through engagement with public authorities and expanding expert networks through fellowships and knowledge portals involving NGOs and relevant stakeholders.
