Environment & Social Scoping Consultant for Monetization of Select Transmission Assets in Tamil Nadu

Objectives: The Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Limited (TANTRANSCO) intends to monetize its existing transmission assets through a bankable PPP framework under the Acquire, Operate, Maintain, and Transfer (AOMT) model. The project, supported by IFC, aims to recycle capital and attract private sector investment to a 765 kV Ariyalur Substation, and transmission lines from Ariyalur to Thiruvalam, Pugalur, and Kalivanthapattu. It involves environmental and social (E&S) scoping, risk identification, and applying IFC Performance Standards to optimize pricing outcomes and broaden bidder participation.
