Consultancy for advanced testing of Recic Kabuga stove

Objectives: The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, operating under the Energising Development (EnDev) programme, is seeking a service provider for the testing of the Kabuga stove at GS Kabuga School in Kigali, Rwanda. This initiative, part of the "Reducing Climate Impact of Cooking in Rwanda through Improved Cooking Energy Systems" project, aims to promote efficient cooking technologies in institutional settings. The contractor will verify the performance of the Kabuga stove model through standardized technical tests and interviews, generating data to potentially replicate the stove in other schools, ultimately reducing biomass consumption and emissions. The assignment spans from June to August 2025 and involves a comprehensive study and final reporting on the stove's performance, quality, and user experience.
