Objectives: The Niue’s National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan is being aligned with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework to enhance Niue's compliance with global biodiversity commitments. The framework aims to halt biodiversity loss and ensure sustainable management by developing a comprehensive strategy that aligns with global goals, national targets, and sustainable development objectives. The project will involve stakeholder engagement, policy reviews, financial planning for biodiversity, and developing monitoring systems to track progress. Ultimately, it seeks to foster biodiversity conservation while incorporating international standards.
