RFP-063-IND-2025 - Landscapes in Gujarat under the GEF Land Degradation Neutrality

Objectives: The RFP aims to develop green, resilient, and inclusive gender-responsive business plans for value chains in the selected landscapes of Gujarat under the GEF Land Degradation Neutrality Project. The project intends to enhance livelihoods through sustainable practices while promoting gender equity across the value chain. This involves mapping existing Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and conducting feasibility studies for suitable value chains like agriculture, forestry, and minor forest produce. A comprehensive business plan will be developed for each FPO, focusing on environmentally sustainable practices aligned with climate-resilient strategies. In addition, capacity-building toolkits and programs will be created to enable beneficiaries to improve their practices and link to markets and financial support. The initiative seeks to foster innovative approaches and promote sustainability, community ownership, and resilience in the local ecosystems.
