81317266-Implementation of VET and labour market and/or sectorial short- and medium-term missions (TEI OP-VET)

Objectives: The "Opportunity-Driven Skills and Vocational Education and Training in Africa" project aims to improve skills and Vocational Education and Training (VET) provision in Sub-Saharan Africa by addressing the skills needs arising from Africa-Europe investment initiatives, with a focus on the Global Gateway. The initiative, lasting from March 2024 to February 2029, involves enhancing the employability of both women and men by aligning skills and VET interventions with employment opportunities in specific sectors and value chains supported by Africa-Europe partnerships, particularly those under the Global Gateway strategy. The project also aims to increase coordination between public and private sectors to build effective partnerships that lead to sustainable employment.
