Objective and Purpose of the Assignment

   
(i)	Support the Project Director and the PMU team in project finance, procurement, contracting and 
administration;
(ii)	Provide specialized advice and perform tasks in SPS policy development and implementation, in 
particular with regards to surveillance, food safety information management, food inspection, 
import handling, and risk analysis;
(iii)	Assist in developing scorecards for restaurants and implementing a system of grading of 
restaurants; and
(iv)	Provide support in the supervision of consulting contract packages:  T3:  GHP/GMP Service 
Provider – Upgrading Food Safety Handling in Restaurants; T4:  GHP/GMP Service Provider – Auditing 
Food Safety Handling in Restaurants; and T5:  Laboratory Upgrading.
