To Support Africa s Development Dynamics Report

Objectives: The objective of this Market Consultation is to engage an external consultant located at the African Union Commission headquarters in Addis Ababa to assist in the preparation of the 2025 and 2026 editions of "Africa’s Development Dynamics," a significant report jointly produced by the African Union Commission and the OECD Development Centre. The consultant will take part in managing and executing policy analysis, economic evaluation, and the dissemination of research findings relevant to African economic development themes specified in the Africa’s Development Dynamics report. Additionally, the project aims to enhance partnerships between the OECD Development Centre and the African Union in this endeavor, contributing to the overall strategic goals outlined in Agenda 2063, with a particular focus on infrastructure development and its role in Africa’s productive transformation. The output is expected to deepen policy discussions by diversifying and localizing economic analytic frameworks, thereby supporting national, regional, and continental policy alignment regarding Africa's infrastructural advancements.
