Enhancing Gender-Responsive Disaster Risk Reduction in Maharashtra: Sensitization Workshop, Knowledge Products, and Baseline Assessment

Objectives: The primary objective of the tender is to enhance gender-responsive disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate change adaptation (CCA) in Maharashtra. This will be achieved through capacity building, development of knowledge products, and conducting a baseline assessment. The focus is on sensitizing state-level officials and ensuring the integration of gender perspectives into community-based disaster risk reduction (CBDRR) initiatives. Major tasks include carrying out a baseline survey, producing a comprehensive manual on DRR with gender considerations, and organizing workshops for government officials to facilitate gender-inclusive DRR strategies.
