IC-Senior Technical Advisor – Seventh National Report (NR7)

Objectives: The primary objective of this consultancy is to provide technical leadership for the preparation of India's Seventh National Report (NR7), ensuring the assessment of progress on 23 National Biodiversity Targets (NBTs) and their 142 indicators. This will involve aligning the report with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) and CBD Decision 16/32, as well as supporting the National Focal Point in finalizing and uploading the progress on an online platform. Specific objectives include advising on NR7 preparation, facilitating data collection, drafting NR7 sections with stakeholder validation, and developing a knowledge product to indicate India’s progress on NBTs.
