Supporting the Ministry of Local Development in Decentralization and Integrated Local Development with special emphasis on Upper Egypt

Objectives: This tender is focused on providing consultancy services to aid the Ministry of Local Development in Egypt, targeting rural development with a concentrated effort on districts in Upper Egypt. The main objective is to formulate a National Strategy for Rural Development, leveraging the success of the "Decent Life" initiative to boost local economies and support sustainable development across rural regions. This includes creating a framework addressing key areas like local economic and human capital development, institutional strength, governance, and environmental sustainability. The intended outcome is a cohesive and actionable strategy that enhances living conditions in rural communities, aligns with Egypt's Vision 2030, and integrates with the National Urban Policy to ensure regional balance and territorial cohesion.
