Request for Proposal for the implementation of activities with MOYS affiliated youth serving institutions namely volunteer clubs, scouting clubs and girls’ clubs

Objectives: The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) has launched a Request for Proposal (RFP) aimed at implementing activities in Egypt with institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS). The project, under the Dare to Care program, aims to transform patriarchal masculinities and social norms to empower women economically and encourage men's involvement in domestic responsibilities. It targets engaging 20,000 young men and 20,000 women at youth-serving institutions such as volunteer and scouting clubs. The desired outcomes include increased male participation in unpaid domestic duties and the empowerment of women to join the formal labor market, aligning with Egypt's Vision 2030, and promoting gender equality and women's empowerment as part of the Middle East and North Africa regional initiatives.
