Co-ordinating Centre for the implementation of the OECD Schemes for Varietal Certification of Seed moving in international trade

Objectives: The OECD is launching a tender to appoint a Co-ordinating Centre for the OECD Seed Schemes. These schemes are crucial for the varietal certification of seeds in international trade, ensuring that seeds produced and traded internationally meet consistent standards. The service provider will be responsible for maintaining and updating the List of Varieties Eligible for Seed Certification, participating in meetings, and providing technical guidance and advice. This initiative engages 64 OECD member and non-member countries, reinforcing the global collaboration in seed certification.
