Objectives: The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is implementing the Biodiversity Finance Plan Project in Moldova, which requires the services of a National Biodiversity Finance Specialist. This project aims to develop Moldova's first National Biodiversity Finance Plan to address the funding gap for biodiversity conservation. The Specialist is expected to conduct a Biodiversity Expenditure Review, support the drafting of the Biodiversity Finance Plan, and engage with various national and international stakeholders to promote biodiversity finance solutions. The ultimate goal is to enhance the country's biodiversity financing mechanisms effectively.
