  1. The government program comprises a public investment program (reflected in the MoIE/AKUK Mid-Term Budget Plan) and a set of policy and regulatory instruments framed by a broader, decade-long water sector reform process, which the MoIE and AKUK have been steering with strong leadership gaining commitment from all sector stakeholders in the country.

The Albania Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Modernization Program (NWSSMP) is a comprehensive program aiming at enhancing water supply and sanitation services in Albania. Funded by the World Bank, it is designed to support the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy (MoIE) in implementing the National Water Supply and Sewerage Services Sector Strategy 2023-2030 to improve the operational and financial performance of the WSS sector and enhance access to safely managed water services.

This assignment aims to provide office supply and IT equipment for the offices of Customer Care located in the areas covered by the 14 Regional Water Utility units. The purchased equipment will help in the daily activities of the staff, overall enhance the experience, increasing the customer service efficiency.

  1. The Project Coordination Unit (PCU) as an implementing agency within AKUK (National Water and Sewerage Agency) now invites Quotations from eligible local firms for the materials and goods specified in Annex 2 of this RFQ
  1. Comparison of quotations will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Quotation (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Procurement in Investment Project Financing Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, July 2016 Revised November 2017 and August 2018, November 2022 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible firms as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
  1. Interested eligible firms may obtain further information from The Unit for Implementation of the Project (PCU) within AKUK (National Water and Sewerage Agency) and inspect the quotation document during office hours from 08:00 to 16:30, Mondays to Thursdays, and from 08:00 to 14:00 on Fridays. at the address given below.
  1. Any interested eligible firm must express their interest to the address below on or before 08.09.2025local time 12:00 AM.
  1. All interested eligible firms will be invited to quote through a Request for Quotation (RFQ), which contains the information on the Technical Specifications, Form of Quotation and Draft Contract.
