The purpose of this notice is to comply with the synopses and pre-solicitation notice requirements of FAR 5.2 - Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. Any solicitation resulting from this notice will be handled in accordance with FAR 5.102(d); therefore, availability of any resulting solicitation package may be limited to this electronic medium.

This is NOT an invitation for Bid (IFB) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and in no way obligates the US Government to issue an RFP/IFB and/or award a contract. The information herein below is released for wide dissemination to all parties and is indicative only. The information is subject to modification and is in no way binding to government and the estimate is based on the best information available at this time.

Subject to the availability of funds, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in East Africa, intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) on or around April 2, 2014 for an approximately $24 million single award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for Somalia Program Support Services (SPSS).  The objective of this contract is to obtain support for program-related services to USAID/East Africa Somalia program and technical teams.
