Consultancy for Sustainable Finance & Cross-border Investments

Objectives: The objective of this tender is to engage a short-term consultant to draft a research paper focused on identifying the key elements of sustainable finance and cross-border investments within the ASEAN's critical minerals supply chains. The consultant is expected to make recommendations for incorporating these elements into the strategic and operational frameworks of multilateral development banks (MDBs) and financial institutions (FIs). The consultant will need to provide evidence and create a business case that highlights human rights and environmental due diligence, promotion of local value addition and benefit-sharing, regulatory advice for the ASEAN, as well as enhancing transparency and accountability through public disclosures.
