Project / Notice: RFP for Supplemental Multi‑Cloud Services

Status: open

Section: Goods

Type: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL ( RFP )

Budget: 10,000 - 218,000 USD

Contract Length: 36 Months

Description:
The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB or the “Bank”) continues to expand its use of cloud‑based technologies to support digital solutions and evolving business needs. Cloud service providers increasingly offer differentiated capabilities in areas such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, geospatial services, and other emerging technologies, driving demand for more flexible and specialized cloud services across the institution.

While the Bank will continue to rely on its existing primary cloud platforms for core workloads, there is a need for a controlled mechanism to access supplemental global cloud services where specific capabilities are required and are not otherwise available or optimal under existing arrangements. Accordingly, the Bank intends to establish a framework to enable selective, use‑case‑driven access to supplemental cloud service providers through qualified resellers, supporting flexibility, efficiency, and compliance while avoiding unnecessary complexity.

tender Background

About the Funding Agency

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank (MDB) conceived for the 21st century for promoting infrastructure development in Asia. Through a participatory process, its founding members (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) are developing its core philosophy, principles, policies, value system and operating platform. The Bank's foundation is built on the lessons of experience of existing MDBs and the private sector.

AIIB is offering sovereign-backed and non-sovereign-backed financing (i.e. loans, guarantees, and equity investment). It does not have a concessional financing window, nor does it provide grants. AIIB does not provide financing to individuals.
