Dear Prospective Offerors:

The purpose of this notice is to comply with the synopses and pre-solicitation notice requirements of FAR 5.2 - Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. Any solicitation resulting from this notice will be handled in accordance with FAR 5.102(d); therefore, availability of the solicitation package is limited to the following electronic medium: FEDBIZOPPS web page (http://www.fbo.gov/).

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for Kosovo intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to implement the project described below.

The purpose of the solicitation is to obtain technical assistance services for implementation of the Project entitled Agriculture Growth and Rural Opportunities (AGRO) Activity.The primary objective of the AGRO Activity is to stimulate the competitiveness of Kosovo’s agricultural sector.

AGRO Activity interventions will be selectively targeted to achieve maximum impact on the agricultural sector.  Interventions will also leverage the investments of others, including the Government of Kosovo, other donors and the private sector.

Offerors are advised that this is NOT a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) and in no way obligates the US Government to issue a RFP and/or award a contract. Issuance of the RFP solicitation and award of a contract are subject to availability of funds and other internal USAID approvals. The information herein below is released for wide dissemination to all parties and is indicative only. The information is subject to modification and is in no way binding to the Government and the estimate is based on the best information available at this time.

You are advised to regularly check the site noted above for future updates or information and look-out for a formal RFP. Interested offerors are encouraged to register themselves as an interested vendor. DO NOT SEND ANY PROPOSALS OR QUESTIONS UNTIL THE FORMAL RFP IS POSTED.
