Overview
The New Zealand Aid Programme, acting for and on behalf of the Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) is supporting the Government of The Republic of Vanuatu with Hudson to advertise assignments based on the Pacific Island of Vanuatu.
Established in 2006 with the support of the NZ Aid Programme, the Department of Correctional Services in Vanuatu is responsible for the administration of the Vanuatu Correctional Services Act and the Penal Code. The Department manages correctional centres; community sentences; provides reports, information and advice; and programmes for the rehabilitation and reintegration of offenders.
The New Zealand Aid Programme is providing ongoing support to the Department for infrastructure, capacity development and in strengthening the community justice system. In doing this, two key assignments have been identified as integral to the ongoing implementation of the programme:
1. Procurement Adviser
2. Partnership Coordinator
Both of these assignments will appeal if you are interested in being part of a programme that directly contributes to the enhancement of local communities in Vanuatu.
