PROCUREMENT OF AIR CONDITIONERS FOR WATER USER ASSOTIATIONS

The United States of America, acting through the Millennium Challenge Corporation (“MCC”) and the Government of the Republic of Moldova have entered into a Millennium Challenge Compact for Millennium Challenge Account assistance to help facilitate poverty reduction through economic growth in the Republic of Moldova (the “Compact”) in the amount of approximately 262,000,000 USD (“MCC Funding”). The Government, acting through the public institution Millennium Challenge Account – Moldova intends to apply a portion of the MCC Funding to eligible payments under a contract for which this Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is issued. Any payments made under the proposed contract will be subject, in all respects to the terms and conditions of the Compact and related documents, including restrictions on the use and distribution of MCC Funding. No party other than the Government and Purchaser shall derive any rights from the Compact or have any claim to the proceeds of MCC Funding.

This SPN follows the General Procurement Notice that appeared in UNDB Online on April 13, 2012, dgMarket on April 11, 2012, the local newspapers Monitorul Oficiel on April 27, 2012 and Economicheskoe Obozrenie on April 13, 2012, and was posted on the MCA-Moldova website http://www.mca.gov.md on April 11, 2012.  

MCA-Moldova invites all interested companies to submit a quotation for supply of the Air Conditioners for Water User Associations (WUAs):

 You must quote for all the items and in the quantities specified above. Partial Quotations will be determined non-responsive and rejected.

A Supplier will be selected under the Shopping method for procurement of goods in accordance with MCC Program Procurement Guidelines as amended on September 21, 2010 and May 2, 2011, to be found on MCC website http://www.mcc.gov/pages/business/guidelines.

The quotation must be submitted not later than 18:00 on July 9, 2012, apart from mode of submission chosen by the Offeror.  Quotations received after this deadline will be rejected.
