1. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the IDA,AfDB,DFID&Unicef toward the cost of Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of Vehicles.

2. The Ministry of Water Irrigation and Energy now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Procurement of 85 units of Double Cabin Diesel 4 WD Pick up and 5 Station Wagons.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods  under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers January 2011 edition, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Water Irrigation and Energy, Procurement coordinator, Ato Kejela Fufa e-mail kanoliengineering@gmail.comand inspect the bidding documents during office hours 09:00AM to 05:00 PM at the address given below.

5. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 500 (Five Hundred Birr). The method of payment will be Cash against receipt. The document will be sent by air mail,surface mail, courier as appropriate or can also be delivered to authorized agent of the bidders up on covering such costs by the bidder.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before August 4, 2015, 10:00AM. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on August 4, 2015, 10:30AM.

7. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of ETB 500,000(ETB Five Hundred Thousand) for LOT1,ETB 100,000(ETB One Hundred Thousand) for LOT 2or equivalent in freely convertible Currency.
