Power Evacuation and Grid Interconnection for Global Transfer Feed-in Tariff (GET-FiT) Project in Western Uganda

Project measures: Under the GET-FiT Grid Interconnection Programme the Government of Uganda through KfW supports the connection of small scale hydro power plants to the national grid. Existing 33 kV transmission lines shall be upgraded/reinforced and new ones constructed.

Requested Consultant services: Review of existing designs, load flow studies and line routes, verification of existing lines with regard to suitability for upgrade, survey of new line route, preparation of the procurement (tender documents, tendering), evaluation, contracting, supervision and approval of construction designs and works including the adherence to environmental and social safeguards principles.
