The proposed project development objective is to strengthen the capacity of water sector institutions to improve the access to and the quality of water and sanitation services in selected growth centers and to improve water resources planning. This will be achieved through strengthening the capacity of ZINWA and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Climate through investments in seven growth centers and technical assistance. The project is expected to directly benefit about 50,000 people living in the seven growth centers and indirectly benefit the seven local authorities, national government and ZINWA through technical assistance Concept completed on 20 July 2015.
