The estimated project cost ranges between $5million to $7million. One Engineering firm/or Construction contractor will be awarded the entire project. The selected firm/contractor is expected to hire local engineers and support staff who can assess the needs, design, monitoring and evaluation of renovation. In addition, the selected firm/contractor is encouraged to subcontract part of the work to local engineering/construction firms.
The approach to renovation planning and implementation may be summarized in two phases:
Phase one: Assessment and production of detailed renovation specifications, architectural drawings when necessary and bill of quantities. This is followed by preparation, issuing and tendering renovation services to complete renovation.
Phase two: Actual renovation phase in which the contractor subcontracts local firms to perform the renovation work.

Jordan’s infrastructure development emphasises water security, renewable energy and transport improvements amid limited domestic resources and regional pressures. Investments, often supported by multilateral partners, seek to enhance grid stability, expand clean energy capacity and modernise logistics to stimulate jobs and private investment. Government reform programmes aim to unlock private sector-led growth, improve fiscal sustainability and build socio-economic resilience. Key constraints include water scarcity, fiscal pressures and the need for continued improvements in regulatory and investment governance to attract capital.
