The Government of Mozambique has received a Credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of implementing the National Water Resources Development Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under Contracts for Corumana Dam Completion, as detailed in the Schedule of Requirements.

The National Directorate of Water Resources Management now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Corumana Dam Completion Works.

Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and No-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and Grants by World Bank Borrowers, edition January 2011 and revised in July 2014 ("Procurement Guidelines"), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraph 1.6 and 1.7 setting for the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the National Directorate of Water Resources Management and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8.30 to 15.00H (GMT + 2).

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of US$250.00 or equivalent amount in Metical (MZN).   The Bidding Documents will be sent by Courier for overseas bidders, at the bidders costs.

A Pre-Bid meeting will take place at the following date, time and place:

Date: October 11, 2016; Time: 10:00 H (GMT + 2); Place: Corumana Dam, meet at the   Corumana Dam administrative office.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 hours (GMT+2) 16^thNovember, 2016. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Bids received after the deadline for submission will be rejected.  Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder's representative who choose to attend in person at the address below 10:10 hours GMT+2), on 16^th November, 2016. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security: US$ 500,000.00 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
