SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL – Performance review of the Fisheries, Aquaculture and Marine Ecosystems Division of SPC
You are invited to submit a proposal to carry out specific tasks as outlined in the Terms of Reference (Annex II).
To enable you to submit a Proposal please find enclosed:
Annex I: Instructions to bidders (Annex 1)
Annex II: Terms of Reference, containing a description of SPC’s requirements for which these services are being sought (Annex II)
Annex III: SPC General Terms and Conditions for Contract for Professional Services (Annex III)
This letter is not to be construed in any way as an offer to contract with your firm/institution.
Proposals should be emailed to [email protected] with the heading ‘RFP 17/009’.
All proposals should reach the Pacific Community before 6.00 pm Noumea time, Wednesday 22 February 2017.

SPC - Secretariat of the Pacific Community - (sometimes called the Pacific Community) is a regional intergovernmental organisation whose membership includes both nations and territories in the Pacific Ocean and their metropolitan powers. It aims to "develop the technical, professional, scientific, research, planning and management capability of Pacific Island people and directly provide information and advice, to enable them to make informed decisions about their future development and well-being." The SPC headquarters is in Nouméa, New Caledonia.
Supports initiatives that assess performance, measure results, and improve the effectiveness and accountability of projects and programs.
Encompasses the harvesting, farming, and management of fish and other aquatic organisms for commercial, subsistence, or conservation purposes.
