Overall objective of this intervention is to support up to 2,000 excluded women[1] who received vocational skills and entrepreneurship development training by the VSDTC with (1) business start-up support and business development services (BDS) or (2) job placement support and further development of technical skills for their improved and sustainable livelihoods.

The specific objectives are as follows:

  • To identify needs of up to 2,000 exclude women who graduated from the VSDTC training for business start-up or job placement.
  • To provide a post-training follow-up support package to up to 2,000 excluded women after the VSDTC training, depending on respective needs and interests. The training graduates will be requested to select one of the following two packages: (1) business start-up and BDS or (2) job placement support and further skills development.
  • To facilitate a linkage between up to 2,000 excluded women and the locally available business development resources, the markets and job opportunities.
