This is a notice that the Department of State intends to purchase twelve months of hardware services and software subscription services from Network Appliance, Inc. of Sunnyvale, California for NetApp's model F720, 9 months of hardware and software subscription services for model F760, 9 months of hardware and software subscription service for model F820. These services provide continued support for systems purchased from Network Appliance under its General Supply Schedule Contract GS-35F-5183H. This notice of intent is not a request for offers. The determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The order will be placed on January 23, 2003. The U.S. Department of State is the federal executive body under the US government that advises the President and maintains international relations, serving as the Department of Foreign Affairs.
