The Government of the Republic of Macedonia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Second Trade and Transport Facilitation in Southeast Europe Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction of Border Crossing Blace ? Passenger terminal.
The Customs Administration of the Republic of Macedonia now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders contract no.
2/2009 for Rehabilitation and upgrading of passenger terminal at Border Crossing Blace containing road and building constructions, water supply, electrical installation and sewage.
The delivery/construction period is 14 mounts.
Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank?s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from the Customs Administration of the Republic of Macedonia at the address below during office hours (0900 to 1600).
A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 18.500,00 MKD or 300 EUR.

On the request of the bidder, the document will be sent by the Special Courier (DHL) at the address indicated by the bidder.
The Employer does not bear the responsibility in the case of lost or late delivery.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 60.000,00 EUR or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency, and be delivered to the address below by 12:00 hours (noon) on 20 July 2009.
They will be opened immediately thereafter, in the presence of bidders? representatives, who choose to attend, at the address below.
Late bids will be rejected
