Integrated Development Program for Municipalities Phase I and II (PRODIA I & II)
Programme: PRODIA provides financing for municipal infrastructure investments and related capacity building measures in 15 municipalities in the provinces of Inhambane, Sofala and Manica. PRODIA I started in January 2014 with six municipalities (Catandica, Chimoio, Gondola, Inhambane, Massinga and Vilankulo) and the first infrastructure measures are being constructed now. PRODIA II started in October 2015 with nine municipalities (Beira, Dondo, Gorongosa, Manica, Marromeu, Maxixe, Nhamatanda, Quissico and Sussundenga) and detailed designs for the infrastructure measures are currently being prepared by local consulting firms. The contract for the current consulting services for PRODIA terminates in December 2019 and has to be newly tendered, which is subject of this publication.
Requested Services:
Consulting Services for the coordination and management of the Program, including support to the Program Implementation Unit in Maputo and to the 15 Municipalities in Inhambane, Sofala and Manica Province in planning, tendering, implementation and operation and maintenance of urban infrastructure investment projects; financial management and capacity building.
PRODIA commenced in 2014 and implementation is ongoing. Current consulting services run out in December 2019 and have to be newly tendered (subject of this publication).
