Description: Please note that this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The requirement is to obtain janitorial services for real property owned or managed by the U.S. Government at U.S. Embassy, Abu Dhabi. The services are in all designated spaces including, but not limited to hallways, offices, restrooms, work areas, entrance ways, cafeteria, visitor lobbies, storage areas, elevators, stairways and industrial areas. Estimated total of the floor area for performance of the cleaning services is 14,095 square meters. The anticipated performance is for a base period of twelve months and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation will be issued via the FedBizOpps. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 5.207. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at the above web address. The U.S. Department of State is the federal executive body under the US government that advises the President and maintains international relations, serving as the Department of Foreign Affairs.
