Assignment: consultancy services for the institutional strengthening and capacity building for disaster resilience of rural roads
The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) and the International Development Association (IDA) are in the process of finalizing the financial assistance from IDA towards the cost of the South East Asia Disaster Risk Management Project (“Resilience of Rural Infrastructure Project”) for rehabilitation and up-grade of Rural Roads in 6 provinces. RGC intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract for consultancy services for the institutional strengthening and capacity building for disaster resilience of rural roads.
The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) represented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) has appointed the Ministry of Rural Development as the Implementing Agency. The Ministry of Rural Development (MRD) will procure this consulting service.
The Ministry of Rural Development now invites eligible consulting firms to express their interest in providing these services.
Interested consulting firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, experience in the country/region, experience in similar type of assignments, experience with Multilateral Institution Financed Projects, specific experience, management structure and key company personnel, and so forth). Consulting firms may associate with each other to enhance their qualifications.

A consulting Firm will be selected in accordance with the procedures of QCBS method set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers dated January 2011, revised in July 2014.
Interested consulting firms may obtain further information on working days at the address below from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from 4 February 2020 to 4 March 2020.
Expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below on or before 5:00 p.m. (Cambodia Standard Time) on 4 March 2020.
