Assignment Title: Component 1 - Productive Inclusion and Market Access.
Reference No. (as per Procurement Plan): Subcomponent 1.1 - providing support to OP’s and AC’s for the execution of Socioenvironmental Subprojects.
The Luís Eduardo Magalhães Foundation - FLEM through the Technical Cooperation Contract with Companhia de Desenvolvimento e Ação Regional – CAR has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Bahia Productive Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (“the Services”) include the Elaboration and Advice of Socioenvironmental Projects with the social and productive organizations that benefit from the Bahia Produtiva Project, about 100, contemplated by the CAR Notice no. 014/2019 - Selection of Socioenvironmental Subprojects for Conservation and Sustainable Use of Biodiversity, with headquarters in distributed municipalities for 15 (fifteen) Identity Territories of Bahia, for a period of 12 months.
The Luís Eduardo Magalhães Foundation - FLEM now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are: private institutions, with or without profit, with proven experience, among others, in (1) the elaboration and / or execution of socio-environmental projects with traditional communities and / or family farmers that involve activities related to the themes listed in the CAR Notice n ° 014/2019 (forest restoration, agroecological production, community-based tourism, socio-biodiversity product chain, extraction of native species and others); (2) execution of technical assistance and rural extension services; (3) technical execution of services for monitoring and advising social or productive organizations; (4) participatory development of investment projects, executive projects, environmental, economic and social feasibility plan for collective projects.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers, january 2011 (“Consultant Guidelines”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a subconsultancy to enhance their qualifications.
A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost - Based Selection (QCBS) method set out in the Consultant Guidelines.
