Description

San Juan National Forest, Dolores Ranger District Boundary Mastication Project II.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 1282CS20Q0045 and is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-06. This requirement is solicited as a Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns (Total Small Business Set-Aside) under NAICS code 115310, Support Activities for Forestry, Fuels Management Services with a U. S. Small Business Administration size standard of $20.5 million. This is a requirement for mastication and pruning services for the San Juan National Forest.

The FAR provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Additional clauses and provisions applicable to this acquisition are attached. Evaluation shall be made on a Best Value basis in accordance with FAR Clause 52.212-2.

Deadline for submitting quotes. Quotes shall be submitted by email to the contracting officer at randal.sadler@usda.gov no later than 17:00 ET, Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Include the solicitation number, 1282CS20Q0045, in the subject line of your emailed quote.

Award of this contract will be made utilizing the SF1449 Solicitation/Order for commercial items. The SF18 is provided for administrative and posting purposes only.
