Description

1. The Project Management Board of the Project "PCB Management in Vietnam" has received a grant from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) (acting as an Implementing of the Global Environment Facility), and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under the contract for the following consulting service: CS10/ISEA bidding package - Technical guideline development on "Retirement schedule of PCB equipment; Restriction on re-use and recycle of PCB oils; Guidelines for identification, management, repair and retro-filling of PCB equipment". 2. This bidding package includes the following tasks: # Review and assessment of current technical guidelines and regulations for oil waste and oil-containing equipments management in general and PCB-suspected oil and equipments in particular. # Suggestion of three technical guidelines addressed in retirement schedule of PCB equipment; restriction on re-use and recycle of PCB oils; guidelines for identification, management, repair and retro-filling of PCB equipment. The expected implementation period is from January 2011 until January 2013. 3. The Project Management Board now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). 4. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004, revised October 2006 for the Selection Based on the Consultant Qualification (CQS) method of selection. The selected firm shall be requested to submit technical-financial proposal. 5.
