The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is a worldwide network of organizations that helps nations to create strong policies, skills, partnerships and institutions to secure global growth. In line with the activity it provides in Kazakhstan, UNDP has announced tender for a national consultant to prepare an analysis of the electricity and heat energy market to identify direct and indirect subsidies. The project seeks to assist Kazakhstan in developing renewable energy, improving the investment climate, encouraging the active deployment of renewable energy infrastructure and increasing investment in renewable energy sources. The bidder will be responsible for identifying current methods for subsidizing the electric and thermal energy markets. Interested vendors should submit their proposals by June 30th, 2021.
