NOTICE:
Borrower/Bid No: Specific Procurement Notice, PCRP/ICB/09/24



1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in UN Development Business No. 705 of June 30, 2007.
2. The Republic of Belarus has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development toward the cost of Post Chernobyl Recovery Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the Contract for PCRP/ICB/09/24 Modernization of Boiler House Including Installation of Cogeneration Unit, Dzerzhinskiy st., Chechersk Town.

3. The RUE "Belinvestenergosberezhenie" now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for PCRP/ICB/09/24 Modernization of Boiler House Including Installation of Cogeneration Unit, Dzerzhinskiy st., Chechersk Town.
The assignment includes: design works, supply and installation of materials, constructions and equipment, construction works according to Specifications and fulfillment of Guarantee obligations.
Completion Date under the contact included signing of the acceptance certificate is December 15, 2010

4. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank's Guidelines:
Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits
, May 2004, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Bidding Documents.

5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from RUE"Belinvestenergosberezhenie" and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM. RUE"Belinvestenergosberezhenie", 11Revoliutsionnaya str., 220030 Minsk, Belarus, e-mail – [email protected].

6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English or Russian may be obtained by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address below.

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 15:00 hour local time, January 14, 2010. Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened physically in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 15:00 hour local time, January 14, 2010.

8. All bids must be accompanied by Bid- Securing Declaration.
