Pre-qualification to Submit an Application for a "Chips Competence Centre" on Semiconductor Technology and Smart Systems

Objectives: The pre-qualification call aims to fund the establishment of a 'Chips Competence Centre' in Norway specializing in semiconductor technologies. This initiative is part of the larger European Chips Act’s agenda to reinforce Europe's standing in semiconductor innovation and production. The selected center is expected to assist Norwegian startups, SMEs, and larger companies in leveraging opportunities within Europe's growing semiconductor capacity. The resulting expertise will support these entities financially and through venture capital advising, enhancing Norway’s semiconductor manufacturing and design capabilities. Only one project will receive the necessary letter of support, a prerequisite for the main international call application.
