MRC Centre of Research Excellence: round three: outline application

Objectives: The MRC Centre of Research Excellence (MRC CoRE) funding aims to tackle complex, interdisciplinary health challenges through transformative biomedical and health research. The grant supports bold, ambitious research projects for up to 14 years, initially for seven years, with continuation contingent on successful review. MRC CoREs are envisioned to become beacons of excellence in research culture, focusing on prevention, early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. The initiative seeks to address unmet health needs, stimulate innovative research, and enhance the UK's global health research capacity through collaborative efforts.
