Sectoral digital skills academies: Digital Skills Academy in GenAI

Objectives: The objective is to establish an AI Skills Academy focusing on skills for the uptake and deployment of AI, especially GenAI, in key sectors and for development in AI Factories. This academy will leverage industry, higher education, and vocational training collaborations to upskill, reskill, and place professionals in EU jobs. It targets closing AI skills gaps, increasing EU competitiveness, and boosting underrepresented groups' AI participation. Activities include designing new educational programs, offering trainings, fostering EU and international talent networks, promoting awareness of AI sector jobs, and implementing sustainable monitoring methodologies.
